Goannas Women’s Ice Hockey Club Inc. is a Brisbane-based, volunteer-led organisation which supports female players of all ages and skill levels through its senior Goannas team and junior Geckos development program. Competing in the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) as the Brisbane Lightning Women, the club has a strong focus on inclusivity, player development, and community engagement and welcomes members from across Australia and around the world.

Para Ice Hockey Queensland (PIHQ) is a volunteer-led association based at Iceworld Boondall, offering inclusive ice hockey opportunities for people with and without mobility limitations. Affiliated with IHQ and IHA, PIHQ runs weekly sessions and “Come & Try” events, supporting players of all abilities—including those aspiring to represent Australia on the world stage!

Southern Stars Ice Hockey Club is a volunteer-run club based at Iceworld Acacia Ridge, Queensland. Founded in 1993, the club offers inclusive, year-round programs for players of all ages and skill levels. Affiliated with IHQ and IHA, Southern Stars is committed to fostering skill development, sportsmanship, and community through competitive and supportive ice hockey experiences

Northern Lightning Ice Hockey Club is based in Townsville, North Queensland, and is the only ice hockey club operating outside of South East Queensland. Located at the Warrina Ice Skating Rink, the club runs junior-level programs year-round and is dedicated to growing the sport in the region through inclusive and community-driven initiatives.
