Ice Hockey Queensland (IHQ) is the official governing body for ice hockey in Queensland, Australia. Established in 1960 with the opening of the Mowbray Park Ice Rink in Kangaroo Point, IHQ has played a central role in developing and promoting the sport across the state. Today, it oversees all sanctioned ice hockey activities in Queensland, working closely with clubs and leagues at Iceworld Boondall & Acacia Ridge, and the Warrina Ice Rink in Townsville.

IHQ is committed to fostering talent from grassroots to elite levels, supporting junior and senior players, and promoting inclusivity and diversity within the sport. As a proud branch of Ice Hockey Australia (IHA), IHQ continues to grow the game while honouring its rich history and community spirit.
