Registration and Insurance 2013/14

Please go to the online registration system found at https://registration2.pointstreak.com/rfs/pslogin.do?leagueNo=2602&season=1d63 and complete your registration. The fees paid on this online registration cover your affiliation fees to Ice Hockey Queensland, Ice Hockey Australia and your insurance.

• If you were registered last year you already have a user id - this should be your email address. If you have forgotten your password there is a recovery option available.
• If you have not registered online before, you will need to use the "Create My Account" feature to set up your account.
• You will need to check that all your personal details are correct - make sure we have your updated address and phone contacts (and check your date of birth is correct).
• Payment is available by Visa or Mastercard only - processing is via PayPal.
• If you are changing clubs you must complete a transfer form (available on the IHQ website) and have it signed by your old club and accepted by your new club. If you intend to play up this year (ie. Midget playing in Senior competition), you must complete a playing up form EVEN IF YOU HAVE DONE SO IN THE PAST. Playing up forms do not carry forward from season to season.

If you have not already paid your club registration, you must do so after completing your online registration with Ice Hockey Queensland. Note that your club may require you to complete additional forms including but not limited to club registration form, player medical form, code of conduct (player, parent, coach, etc). You are not considered registered until all formalities have been completed.

Just a reminder that the age groups for 2013 are as follows:

• Junior - born in 1996 or later (i.e. under age 18 at 31st Dec 2013)
• Senior - born in 1995 or earlier (i.e. age 18 or over at 31st Dec 2013)
• Midget - Born in 1995, 1996 or 1997
• Bantam - Born in 1998 or 1999
• Peewee - Born in 2000 or 2001
• Atom - Born in 2002 or later

Hotmail Users not Receiving Invites Friday, 19 April, 2013 12:40 pm via Brisbane United Ice Hockey League

We have been getting reports that hotmail users are not getting emails.  Hotmail is generally very suspicious of emails received from new email addresses, so you may have to check your spam folder and report the Invitation Emails as NOT SPAM.  Once hotmail recognizes your invites as safe, you should get the invitations delivered to your normal inbox.

If you have a hotmail account and have not gotten a Game Invitaion, please check your spam folder.

GIVE UP THE JOB OF CHASING YOUR PLAYERS EVERY WEEK!

Simply click the Send Invites Button on your games matchup page and your players will receive a game invitation email.

Within these reminder emails are links that your players can click on to inform YOU of their availabilities. This way you don't have to go through the weekly hassle of ringing around to find out who can play, who's on holiday, who's ill, who's raring to go.....saving you time and hassles!

State Training for Bantams and Midgets Sunday 24th March at Acacia Ridge

Please note that there will be state training for the Bantams and Midgets at Acacia Ridge this Sunday 24th March, at 4.30-5.30pm. All registered bantams and midgets are invited. An email will also be sent to all registered eligible players. The session will cost $20 per player. Any queries for Midgets please contact the coach Mike Hall, and for Bantams contact the coach Peter Debeer or the Manager, Tanya Wray on tanyawray@ymail.com

This session was originally going to be for Peewees and Bantams but has been changed to Midgets and Bantams.

More dates for training/try outs will be released once they have been finalised.
