Note: Goaltenders are the only exemption to the above Rules regarding Juniors playing Adult Hockey; Goalkeepers aged 12 years and older are permitted to play in non-body checking games with adults. This exemption is given due to the rules protecting goalkeepers from body contact, and the decision of an Equal Opportunity Tribunal case based on this rule.
